Gene Patent Ruling Is Criticized by Industry
“Gene Patent Ruling Criticized by Industry - http://nyti.ms/cNusyO DOJ says genes not patentable.”
      Huh!
Agency capture is always a danger.  This is illustrative. The FCC is another case.

    Fast Track to Inequality
A new book offers the best explanation to date for the extreme concentration of wealth and income in the U.S.

Succinct. The time scale is short but no matter.

If I were in solitary confinement playing with synthesized sound could save my sanity.  The trip up the learning curve would make it a near thing.  Some have made it.  I would have to learn coding and music in a way I have not.

      Virtual Staging Saves Real Money
“Gives new meaning to word augmented realit - Virtual Staging for Real Estate - http://nyti.ms/bgoBPM”  Any decorator should be able to do it.  Hire help and run it as a business. More practically build a Rolodex as an agent for the service.  If the space can have a visit it can be done to better effect.  A backup plan.

    Vote
There are critically important decisions to be made about whether the country moves ahead or backward. We urge all Americans to vote.
I do that, every time.  The poles were busy.

This editorial would have done far more good if it had been up weeks ago.
It could havestood at the top of the page in bold type.  It can be a feature of the page with small edits hence forth.

I can provide some of that.  The facilities can be rented away or owned locally.  Turn about is fair. You have first call.

      Protect Yourself Against Medicare Fraud
“Protect Yourself Against Medicare Fraud - http://nyti.ms/dDAs2H”
A few inspectors would be well worth the outlay.  Many who are dependent on the program are of limited mental means.  If one does not remember yesterday, one will not know that it is fraud and not simple theft.  Suspicion is a geriatric condition.
The competency of politicians to live independently must be questioned. The franchise should hang on it.

For the A-Cup Crowd, Minimal Assets Are a Plus
Many women these days want to showcase their small chests, not pad them out. Retailers are listening.

Jon Stewart Rally Shifts Blame to the News Media
At his Rally to Restore Sanity, Jon Stewart was unwilling to take a stand in the culture wars. So he opened fire on a bystander: the news media.
If they only were bystanders they might have a case. The media are not neutral and never have been.  "The facts have a liberal bias."

Nice images.  I want to live in a place like that.  I am dependent on "community" That is not there.  The radio is not enough.  The net is getting there.  I really need some one to get me out of bed in the morning and to turn the lights off at night.  I have never been able to say "Stop enough for the day".

    Get Bold, Barack
At the midpoint in his term, the president still has not passed the critical authenticity test.
From his starting point there was no good solution.

Times of London Reports More Than 100,000 Paying Customers for Web Site
The Times of London is among the first prominent general interest newspapers to build a “pay wall” for its content.
I doubt that.  The magazines tried it.  They hate to admit it is a bad idea.
Consumer reports has done it on paper forever.  They have a very limited readership.

“From Farm to Fridge to Garbage Can - http://nyti.ms/avXrUf”
We have spent 600 years trying to have some variety in our diets.
What really works is to market daily and let the cook think about a week ahead.  There should be nothing "fresh" that is more than a week in the house.  There are exceptions but they are rare.

NASA Team Has Plan to Send a Robot to the Moon
If it’s too expensive to send astronauts to the Moon, a humanoid robot could go instead — quicker and cheaper.
Why in the world would one make it humanoid? Bipedal is an energy hungry mode.
Send tourists.  They pay their own costs.
