Burmese Dissident Is Freed After Long Detention
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was freed after seven and a half years of house arrest and was greeted at the gate of her compound by supporters.
Who has the pool on her free time?  three weeks?

      Sweating Your Way to Success
“Sweating Your Way to Success - AKA - talent is over rated http://nyti.ms/cxl4Kw”
The thought patterns cannot be inate. They were created by people and La Mark never found any traction outside Stalin's Russia.  These patterns of thought must be installed in early childhood. (Personal experience. Ask me in person some time.)  Be very careful what you say to a very young child.  The amount of sweat required to change one of these patterns is greater than "unpatterened"people would ever believe.

We know how to do it. There is no hope for Haiti as long as the corrupt upper crust persists.  There will be more wealthy Haitians in Brooklyn.

Reducing the Cost of Care for Type 2 Diabetes
Diabetes patients spend $6,000 on average a year on care, one reason only 25 percent of diabetics get the treatment they need.
I will sign up for medicare in June.  Until then I will just have to eat with care.  Exercise is a distinct possibility.  My weight has been constant for years.

Defying Trend, Canada Lures More Migrants
Manitoba has won new power to bring foreigners in, handpicking ethnic and occupational groups.
The main attraction of Canada has been the long open border with the US.
The Bush administration has made it a deal less attractive.

How to End the Great Recession

We have not remembered the lesson.  The screams over "New Taxes" are deafening.  The national legislature will do as near to nothing in the next two years as to be beneath notice.  Anything that gets done will be by executive order.  It is lincoln's first term come again.

The Aussies have a hard time with South Asian refugees. They remember the last Afghan war.  They took in a lot of veterans about that time.   Sorry, wrong AZ.  The Tea Party tried hard but the Kero on the rags would not light.  The Hoods stayed in the drawers.  I hope the courts are prompt in taking the mess apart.  Mexico continues to disintegrate.  We may yet look for "Black Jack"Pershing  to resume command of the seventh cavalry. Bit late for that. What's in the replacement pool?  West Point still keeps a stable.  All point officers learn to ride.

A Teacher on the Front Line as Faith and Science Clash
“A Teacher on the Front Line as Faith and Science Clash - http://nyti.ms/csBwxP (Another great look. #thisisimportant)”

What got me about T. Rex is the binocular vision that can be read off the skull.  My grandfather fought with his father over The Origin of Species.  The rupture lasted about ten years. Then his congregation threw the preacher out.  He opposed our entry into the European war. In 1920 he needed a new home and Grandfather took him in.  It is a very old fight.  Evolution wins.
