When a Parent Abducts a Child, the I.R.S. Is Mum
“When a Parent Abducts a Child, the I.R.S. Is Mum - http://nyti.ms/9uUhIb --> Common Sense Says This Should Not Stand.”
What has the I.R.S. to do with abductions?
      They do consider dependency.
Is an abducted child a dependent of the bereft parent . . .
"Her estranged husband, who had absconded with their 9-year-old from Brooklyn, had apparently filed a tax return claiming the boy as an exemption."
"The government, which by its own admission has data that could be helpful in tracking down the thousands of missing children in the United States, says that taxpayer privacy laws severely restrict the release of information from tax returns."
I think it is better this way.   There are private investigators who are thought to be able to hack into the files.  The product is not admissible in court.  A skip tracer can find anyone.

This is a jurisdictional problem combined with the problem of does the bereft parent want just the child or the prosecution and the child.
I want the taxes as does the I.R.S..

Molecular Animation: Where Cinema and Biology Meet
“reading: Molecular Animation: Where Cinema and Biology Meet - http://nyti.ms/9vyxRE”
When I came to this in 1968 it was new. It was also out of reach.
These are on to a big part of the problem. What we are seeing is the extremely high data rate that can be had by symbolic manipulation. this high rate does not increase understanding in the unprepared.
The graphic animation method of presentation reduces or eliminates the the required preparation for a symbolic manipulation presentation. The simplifications and isolations required for graphic clarity are sure to offend those who have spent years understanding the symbolic manipulation model in literate space.
