They make no mention in the article of another independent effect. Warm water is bigger than cold water. The change is not big but it is very real. People encounter it every day.There is a great deal of water on this planet and it couples well with the air. As the sea ice melts more sun will be adsorbed by the newly dark surfaces. Warming will speed.I will take the high end of the estimates and think they are conservative. Three feet is a lot. 80% (?) of Florida and all the Keys gone. The delta gone. Bangladesh gone. The Low Countries gone. Denmark gone. Saint Petersburg gone. The Sacrimento delta gone.This just off the top of my head with a three foot rise. Google earth can probably draw you a map of areas less than three feet above mean high water. They are busy places.
