    Our Banana Republic
No need to undertake dangerous travel to see what banana republic-style inequality looks like. Just look around. And postelection, it may get worse.
There is an attempt to make it worse. That is the effect of the tax cuts.
The new deal tax structure attempted to limit wealth concentration. It was not as effective as it should have been.  With really enormous inputs wealth and power did concentrate, on wall street and in Texas.  Wealth and power have removed the limits on their concentration and formed what is for the rest of us a vicious cycle.  It will break disastrously very soon.

While Warning About Fat, U.S. Pushes Cheese Sales
When sales of Domino’s Pizza were lagging, a government agency stepped in with advice: more cheese. This is the same government that, for health reasons, is advising less cheese.  Less cheese, better cheese, at a far better price. Support Wallace! Grommet does.

    Barack Obama, Phone Home
President Obama can make a comeback, but only if he figures out what he has to come back from and where he has to go.
I will be very surprised if he does not know.  How many times does opposition need to bite before the muzzle comes out?

This model ignores the actual structure of the business. Microsoft needs to be included as well as the other software tribes.
      This trial balloon is lead.
