I have read about it and saw a last gasp of it when I was on 54th street. It is easily seen as profoundly corrupt. The fine structure can easily be virtual I see no problem with that. The problem comes when there is a significant disenfranchised population. Everyone needs to be heard on this very local basis and no group can be seen to be gaining special privilege.It is an eternal temptation to abuse this or any political machine.

This new gang in Washington wants Armageddon.I had a thought on how to deal with the black townships of South Africa a few days ago. I wonder if some such might deal with the Levant. Offer a paid Yeshiva education to any Palestinian who wishes to attend. They are at least as genetically Jewish as the Israelis. On the completion of such an education offer Israeli citizenship and residency subject to national service. In a few generations this will produce a real one state solution. I expect giggles followed by thought.
