Asian-American Designers Ascend the Fashion Ladder
      “Asian-American Designers Climb the #Fashion Ladder, http://nyti.ms/9nXZiO #america, #design”
The sweat shops have been Chinese for many years.  The fashion department at Parsons has been dominant in that industry since it was founded.  1925?  They have their own building.

A Facebook Creation Story With Mark Zuckerberg
“Millions of Friends, but Not Popular. #Facebook Story of Mark Zuckerberg - #in #thesocialnetwork http://nyti.ms/avKxwb”
The reviewer hated it and could not look away.  It is not in any way a picture of me.   You would have to drag me there.

A Cob Oven and the 36-Hour Dinner Party
One fire, one goat, many cooks. A pyro-gastronomical experiment.
Lovely. I want to participate.  How much do you want to do? could we do our own?  I am still learning.  I have to keep things not very adventurous here.  you know that bread is not difficult  but it is subtle.

    The Terminator vs. Big Oil
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California is squaring off against two Texas oil companies over laws that aim to slow global warming and promote energy innovation. Voters will pick the winner next month.

Support a rather gutless half measure as opposed to an an attempt to open looting.  I have to take the half measure but I don't have to like it.
There is an old problem usually presented as:
"My enemy's enemy is my . . ."    filling the blank is the problem.  The best I can do is: my possible ally.  Two valued logic is insufficient.  Motivation is very important.  I do not like Arnold. Thomas Friedman has earned my distrust.  The oil refiners have proven themselves to be solipsists. I trust them to act in their self interest.  It is very much in the interest of the state of California to have a smaller, smarter, wiser population using as little fossil carbon as possible.  This is in the interest of almost none of the Californians.

All Together Now, to Each His Own Sync
“Will there be shared cultural experiences in the digital age?, asks @anandwrites http://nyti.ms/aXzbQW”
This is the existential angst that grew in me as I learned of my ignorance as an aging child half a century ago.  Before any net.
Every author was and is a different experience of the world. None of them was mine.  The world is still one.  Places are different, the one from another.  We who share a language share enough of the world.
We are not marching morons.  Turn off the sync. Look with your eyes.
Hear with your ears. Feel with your skin. Smell the air. Share as you can. You are where you are now.  Be here now. This is all and must be why.   Desire drives us on.  Why not?

You have updated at about 4:00
What are you doing on this side of the continent?
I love you.  I desire you. I want to share life with you.  Yes.
