U.S. Economy Grew at 2% Rate in Third Quarter
“U.S. Economy Grew at 2% Rate in Third Quarter - http://nyti.ms/9t4mje (by Michael Powell - Oct 29) via @nytimes”
The numbers are carefully rigged.  If you look at how things are measured and what is measured you will find that things are very bad for 95% of the population and about 30% are feeling hopeless. that fraction is growing steadily. The financial gang is doing very well in so far as they are employed.

Some of X has found tea.  Coffee is Starbucks but there are more coffees in the supermarket as $5 a cup looks bigger.

The Story Behind a Wikipedia Entry
James Bridle founded a Web site called Booktwo in September 2006 to “investigate, analyze, catalog and debate the future of literature and the publishing industry.” Over the years the site has been home to some interesting debates over literature ...
I had not noticed.  I was aware that the edit noise had died and assumed that some mechanism for peace had been instituted. I see marks of it as I read the articles.  Mostly I don't much care as long as I am finding facts that are either supported by notes or my image of the history.

Students Spell Out Messages on Immigration
“Wonder how this will play out? Students Spell Out Messages on Immigration - http://nyti.ms/dcpk1z”
It really depends on the election but only as to time scale.  The really awful policy will fail but whether these  people will be gathered up is an open question.

4-Year-Old Can Be Sued, Judge Rules in Bike Case

The child is liable. The estate is far more liable for bringing suit. The lawyers for the estate should be assigned to pay all costs including those of the child's defence.

Halliburton and BP Knew of Cement Flaws, Report Says
Halliburton knew before the blast on a BP rig in the Gulf of Mexico that the cement mixture was unstable, a commission found.
Still a non-issue.  There is a good deal of BP news at findlaw

For the A-Cup Crowd, Minimal Assets Are a Plus
Many women these days want to showcase their small chests, not pad them out. Retailers are listening.

What I want to see of you is more.  More words. More contact. More.
                                     I  LOVE YOU
