Gates and Hewlett Foundations Focus on Online Learning

We do not need the semi-skilled middle managers junior colleges turn out.   What is needed  are business starts.  They hire people.  The people doing the hiring must be very creative.  The people hired not so much.  The hires are to do a task.  The hiring people compose those tasks.

Life is not safe.  Cooking is part of life.  Sharp knives work better, also quicker.  Temperature is important.  Hot is quicker.

Heated Debate During Movie Time at the C.F.T.C

The business exists in Nevada.  The market makers are called Bookies.   The Movie business in the studio age was one of personal risk.  To make great films it probably needs to be one of personal risk again.  In poker it is said that if you look around the table and can't spot the patsey the patsey is probably you.

Brand-Name Journalists Cross a Vanishing Divide
More and more, the dichotomy between mainstream media and digital media is a false one.
The fact checking and the concerned editor are a big part of it.  The centre of value has changed.  It is no longer the broadly distributed print page but the repute of the sponsoring organization. A paper like the National Enquirer is seen but is believed by only our most foolish fellow citizens.  The NYTimes is believed by all but our most foolish.  My faith in CalculatedRisk Is great, not because I know the man, I do not but because he has been right very often. I have never caught him in a distortion that was not labelled personal opinion.  He has bothered to look at the information and understand what it means to his concerns.  I will give those observations great weight.  The divide is very much there.

Indulge in fiction labelled fact and join the ranks of the entertainers.

Paladino Laces Speech With Antigay Remarks
Carl P. Paladino said on Sunday that children should not be “brainwashed” into accepting homosexuality.
They might learn to tolerate it around them.  If this offends Mr. Paladino he has no place in N.Y. State politics.  Everyone gets . . .

For the A-Cup Crowd, Minimal Assets Are a Plus
Many women these days want to showcase their small chests, not pad them out. Retailers are listening.
At this point there is no real rush.  I would like to have as much time with you as possible.  I love you.

Paladino Strongly Defends Remarks on Homosexuality
Mr. Cuomo was teaching tolerance. Mr. Paladino... was not. I wonder if Mr. Paladino thinks that teaching his children about infidelity is somehow more appropriate.
Mr. Paladino's  position and attitude call his sexuality into question.  There is no way for him to defend himself from the innuendo.  If the world is as he would have it be his political life is at an end.  Unfortunately it is not.  Andrew Cuomo must campaign through election day.
