Apple to Offer iPhone on Verizon, Ending Exclusivity with AT&T
After more than three years of using AT&T networks, Apple is said to be making an iPhone 4 for Verizon. This is still vapour ware.  When there is a phone that runs VMware I may buy one. The market place is chaotic.  Android is very attractive.

9 Accused of Torturing 3 in Bronx for Being Gay
Police say a group of nine men in the Bronx beat, sodomized and robbed two men and attacked a third.
"An adventure is someone else far away having a really rough time."
Not even the police can get away with this kind of behaviour.

      The End of the Tunnel
“Get ready for more train delays, worse traffic, and a slower recovery thanks to Gov. Christie: The End of the Tunnel - http://nyti.ms/9nlK23”
Gov. Christie follows orders.  That is how he got the office.

    The End of the Tunnel
American politics these days is anything but rational. Example: Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey just canceled the Hudson River tunnel project.
There must be a bidding war.  The tunnel is nailed to its perch.

Ancient Church, Welcoming Pub and ‘Public Sex Environment’
“Ancient Church, Welcoming Pub and ‘Public Sex Environment’ My goodness, the English really are eccentric.- http://nyti.ms/drtlqq”
A door that closes and a dry bed please.  Exhibitions are not my choice.  Cold and wet are very discouraging.

Activism of Thomas’s Wife Could Raise Judicial Issues
Virginia Thomas, wife of Justice Clarence Thomas, has accepted large contributions for her new political nonprofit group, raising questions for some who study judicial ethics.
If she were a Democrat this would be a major scandal.

      Food for a Dollar
“Cheeseburger for a Dollar: Perverse effect of federal agriculture subsidies on price of unhealthy food - http://nyti.ms/9F0aJ8”

The mission was to eliminate hunger.  Mission accomplished. No standard of health was allowed.  Now the Republicans want the credit, if any.
