I don't want to run a business, I want to make things.
The only way to keep control of a business is to closely hold the ownership.  A public corporation has a legal duty to make as much money as possible for the share holders. Allowing me to continue to develop products does not do that. A public corporation is not what I want. An LLC or LLP is a far better umbrella.  I can take investors but they do not get ownership.  A not for profit might do the job.  I need a liability shield.

I tend to agree with Krugman in detail. I take a much blacker view of the near future.  I am glad to be surprised on the up side.

I will happily read it when I get through my pile. There are a lot of things I want to read.
Talking books are just not the same.

Stores Like Target and CVS Add Groceries to Attract Shoppers
“Stores Like Target and CVS Add Groceries to Attract Shoppers - http://nyti.ms/hNYtLP”
Food is one of the few things that are absolotely and completely addictive.  Air and water are others.
How the grocery stores managed to die puzzles me.
I think the cities killed the wholesale markets.

Fox and Glenn Beck Stare Into a Dark Future
Glenn Beck’s particular recipe of socialist conspiracy and chronic desperation is wearing a little thin. His ratings, still the envy of his peers, are well off their peaks.
I am very glad to see the report.

U.S. Military Intervention in Libya Carries Risks
“U.S. Military Intervention in Libya Carries Risks - http://nyti.ms/gedroG #freelibya *thoughts?”
Libya must own its revolution.  It does not as yet. we can put cell communications in the air until Tripoli jams them with traffic. We can airdrop arms. In no way can we do the fighting for them or send advisors.  If some volunteers want to get involved on their own hook that is not a national interest.  Libya must do the work to benefit.
