The Frustrations of the Educated and Unemployed American
Desperate young people are not just a feature of Arab regimes. There are plenty of them in the United States, too.

Vote.  Vote your interest.  Government service pays enough to live well.
Read the papers. look at party policy and record.  Politicians vote the way they say they will.

U.S. Nuclear Industry Faces New Uncertainty
“U.S. Nuclear Industry Faces New Uncertainty - http://nyti.ms/i9n2e9”
Same old tune.  Build the damned things in the middle of  cities and sell potable hot water at the price of water.   Heat will solve the biological pollution problems.  The chemical ones will have to be designed around. Cheap power and heat are well worth the manageable risk.   With free heat, high side regulation looks like a big winner.  We can run the reactor at peak load levels and waste the excess energy.
That is a really big invention.  Heat is free.  Make enough heat to deal with the peak load.  Some seasonal and diurnal anticipation can be done.

Thrillist Melds Editorial Content and Commerce
“get em @benjlerer: Thrillist Melds Editorial Content and Commerce - http://nyti.ms/dXxMpn”
The publication is called a trade magazine. Fan magazines are a subgenre centered on entertainment.
Interesting to think of "young male" as a trade.

How Google Is Evolving Into a Media Company
Google will tell you insistently that it is not a media company — it organizes and manages content, but does not produce it. Watch closely.
Media companies also do not produce content if they are wise.

Quinoa’s Global Success Creates Quandary in Bolivia

Quinoa is not a demanding crop.  Four month season,  a foot of water, sandy soil.  Nitrogen fixer.  Several pests, probably BT sensitive.

Huh. Sustainable Farming Can Feed the World?
“Huh. Sustainable Farming Can Feed the World? - http://nyti.ms/eUI81y new innovations @towingadaopter & local distribution methods considered”
Yes, it can.  There will be less money in it for fast food and for supermarkets.  Small retail should do better.

    Teaching to the Text Message
Learning to write concisely is a valuable skill, and more in tune with the world’s conversation.

The literate conversation can come a bit later.  Spelling will be drilled in by spell check. Grammar check is intrusive.  I do get a bit creative there.

It would be nice if the system popped up homonyms.
