Satellite Photos of Japan, Before and After the Quake and Tsunami
Compare satellite images of areas of Japan before and after the disaster.
Clearing out the survivors is not a bad thing. Ship them to Okinawa and treat for shock.  Everyone will be anxious to return to what remains of their lives.  Let them go in a few weeks. meantime get the roads and rails working, begin bringing up the power grid. The survivors should be allowed to pick over the drift after the morgue crew cleans up.

Publishers and Libraries Struggle over Terms of E-Books
While librarians are pushing for access to more e-books to satisfy demand, publishers are reconsidering how much that access should be worth.

Need Overwhelms Japan After Quake and Tsunami
“Need Overwhelms Japan After Quake and Tsunami - http://nyti.ms/h7e23T - close to 2.5K dead and hundreds washing up on shore - tragic”
As always, do the next thing.  They are dead. Identify, notify, ask for instructions and dispose.  The cold will help some. Reefer containers
exist. Get them there. Tragedy is for when everyone runs out of next things.  There are cold hungry people to deal with. They will need all of them to put the world to rights.  It will not quake again like that soon.
