      The Disposable Woman
“The Disposable Woman - http://nyti.ms/dIESM4 Why isn't anyone talking about #CharlieSheen's history of #DomesticViolence?”
Hunh?  What else is being spoken of?  It is not discussed with him because won't talk of that.

      Huntington’s Clash of Civilizations Revisited
“David Brooks versus Samuel Huntington: Clash of Civilizations Revisited - http://nyti.ms/hewnQa”
I have not read Samuel Huntington.  I favour him over David Brooks.
We are watching an internal conflict.  Islam is faced with very powerful forces.  We will soon know if the ideological rigidity of islam can resist the insidious influences of the tools of western civilization.
There is liable to be a good deal of blood on the sand and war fiction before the question is resolved.  Established Christianity has not stood against those tools.  We are still bleeding.

    How to Kill a Recovery
"Though we finally seem to be climbing out of a very deep hole, many people on the political right want to send us sliding right back down again."

Wonder Woman, 69, Has Style and Mythos Makeover
      “Wonder Woman gets pants! http://nyti.ms/aHrZNG”
"The costume ties into an alternative history for the character devised by J. Michael Straczynski, the new writer of the series, and into a quest by DC to shine a critical and creative spotlight on the heroine, who stands with Superman and Batman in its primary triumvirate of superstars, despite her series’s modest sales."
