Clues Gradually Led to the Location of Osama bin Laden
The raid in Pakistan was the culmination of years of painstaking intelligence.
I very much doubt this story.

The Death of a Terrorist: A Turning Point?
President Obama’s announcement Sunday night about Bin Laden’s death produced an outpouring of reaction. But has the killing of the most wanted face in terrorism made the world safer?
It has not.  We must get our people out of harms way.
I am not alone.  I would like to know who stands with me.

Showing Gay Teens a Happy Future
A new online video channel is reaching out to teenagers who are bullied at school for being gay. The message: life really does get better after high school.
      Sooner is far better.

Where to Live to Avoid a Natural Disaster

There is no place without dangers.  Build to deal with them.
Commercial builders are all in denial or hiding their profits. Cheap space is cheap for a reason.  Corvalis may be vulnerable to debris flows.

31 centimetres per century seems a conservative number to me.
Here is a map of 7 meter rise that would result from the collapse of Greenland.

I did not and do not want him dead.
      I want him to recant
      and now he cant.
I am not at all sure he is guilty of a crime in this country.
He was never a citizen and had sworn no oath to our law.
The soldiers that killed him may be guilty of murder.
I will be quiet about my understanding.

Thomas Friedman is looking but not seeing.  His friend with the production company is buying and selling at the low end of the market.  He is not making enough to reinvest in his operation.  No growth.  He needs a better product to get a better rate of return.
The furniture builder has exported the entry level work to Mexico, thrown away the design department and automated the woodworking.  He has nothing left but some assembly and a sales operation.  When fashion shifts he will be out of business or relabelling Mexican manufactures.  He employs almost no one who would buy his product.HiI
