It is my belief that mathematicscan be and is part of natural language. The words come before the concepts in this pattern. The concepts come with the manipulations.The formal proofs come much later.
Because of the differences in preparation it is only fair to divide the lower grades into readiness groups so new material can be taught at optimum speed. If things are properly arranged new material can behalted early for the advanced group. Trailing groups can be brought along. As synchroness is achieved groups can be unified. There will always be several skill levels graduating. Everyone does not need mastery. They do need as much skill as they can attain.
