Though far from good the deal from the democrats is less bad than the deal from the Republicans.
Not voting is not a choice.
To act one must be elected.
When we have evicted the Republicans, we can clean house and senate.

The ‘Facebook Class’ Built Apps, and Fortunes
In 2007, the “Facebook Class” at Stanford created free apps for millions of users. But it also fired up the careers of many students and pioneered a new model of entrepreneurship.
This is not at all new.
    Think creative writing.

Showing Gay Teens a Happy Future
A new online video channel is reaching out to teenagers who are bullied at school for being gay. The message: life really does get better after high school.
Sooner is better for me and for them.  Chas is right. Gadgets are a joy.  Less chatter is better.
      I want the contact.

City officials in San Francisco have developed a smartphone app that displays information about areas with open parking spaces.
Probably not a good idea.  I will ride public transport whenever possible.
parking garages are to be favoured in the longer term  Put electricity to the spaces.  We may see electric buses in the future.  Attended public parking on the periphery.

"But the larger answer, I’d argue, is that by making up stories about our current predicament that absolve the people who put us here there, we cut off any chance to learn from the crisis. We need to place the blame where it belongs, to chasten our policy elites. Otherwise, they’ll do even more damage in the years ahead." P.K.
    Second.

Despite Government Efforts, Tainted Food Widespread in China
A stomach-turning string of food-safety scandals this spring, from recycled buns to contaminated pork, makes it clear that official efforts are falling short.
A new thing is happening in China.  They are developing industrial cities divorced from agriculture.  Their administrative methods must adapt.

      Chaz Bono, Reluctant Role Model
“Chaz Bono, Reluctant Role Model - http://nyti.ms/iHzhwO”

"“Cher is very real in this film,” Mr. Barbato said. “She’s not editing herself. She’s processing this majorly traumatic thing for any mother: She’s struggling with the fact that her daughter has turned into a man.”
Mr. Bailey brings up a fascinating moment in the film: He asks Cher a question, and she just stares, motionless and unblinking as a cobra — an excruciatingly long and pregnant pause. Then her whole posture shifts. She says, “If I woke up tomorrow in the body of a man, I couldn’t get to the surgeon fast enough.” Right then and there it occurs to her how to relate to it."
A truly dangerous exploration just now.  I like being male. I like that you are female.  The others in your life I don't know.  I will know them only so far as they and you wish.
      Arrangements aren't on my agenda.
