      Fast Times at Woodside High
The kids are just fine.  The staff, not so good.
Moving the goalposts is not a bad thing if the field does not get shorter.

It is so nice to have the income.  "If you want it, go and get it."
      I don't have it.
You are welcome to what I have.

      A Church Mary Can Love
I heard a joke the other day about a pious soul who dies, goes to heaven, and gains an audience with the Virgin Mary. The visitor asks Mary why, for all her blessings, she always appears in paintings as a bit sad, a bit wistful: Is everything O.K.?

      Motivation counts.
Kristof knows that if he looks.  His lead shows it.

I am considering buying a workplace.  Any income from the structure would be incidental.

Massachusetts went through this in the eighteenth century.
Anything as aware of precedent as law should know the resolution.

    The Twitter Trap
What thinking in 140 characters does to our brains.

    Bill Keller has found something.
That I think he does not understand it does not mean that I do.
The ability to place a thought or an observation easily expressed in 140 characters in a context of experience so it extends or details the intellectual structure depends on the internal existence of such a structure.  Its presence in mechanical form is unavailable to any person.

Agatha Cristie knew what Miss Marple knows.  Our a-literate population does not know though they can easily discover what that means.

Showing Gay Teens a Happy Future
A new online video channel is reaching out to teenagers who are bullied at school for being gay. The message: life really does get better after high school.
As soon as you can is best.
