For Law School Graduates, Debts if Not Job Offers
Law schools’ rosy statistics say most graduates are working. The problem is, many aren’t working as lawyers, or making enough to pay back their student loans.     OK.

    U.S.
She is not dead so she will not be replaced by appointment. the seat remains Democratic.  She will not get to the floor to vote.  There may be a special election. Under the circumstances, the district will return a Democrat.

    Climate of Hate
The question is, will G.O.P. leaders accept the reality of what’s happening to America, and take a stand against eliminationist rhetoric?
It has not happened yet. most of it is "dog whistles". Palin was stupid enough to pull out the "Blood Libel".  I am sure she was thinking of the most recent expression of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion".

Data Proves New York City Cabs Do Disappear at 4 P.M.
Just when homebound workers need them, cabs on duty decline by nearly 20 percent. City officials have been unable to prevent it.
Only the dumbest of officials would try.  The cars go back to garages in LICity, Queens. just over the 59th street bridge. The TLC rule is there are three cars on a medallion. the bearer must get back to the garage before the next car on that medallion can go out. Drivers do 8hr.,with breaks 9hr. shifts.

Devastating Australian Floodwaters Reach City of Brisbane
Brisbane and nearby townships braced for more flooding in what has become one of Australia’s most devastating natural disasters.
I thought the flooding was in the south east.  This is in the north east.
Think "In the Wet".  There has been a lot of building since then.  These seem to be suburbs that are suffering.

The giant amoeba-shaped storm forced the cancellation of thousands of flights and threatened train, bus and rail service for commuters across the region Wednesday.
I am cleared out. About 10".  The city had a bit less. classes were not cancelled.   Newsday  has not shown up.  "Winter Wonderland" very little wind.
