So far I have been able to deal with things. Continence is becoming a problem but that is just a matter of some mopping up. She bathes herself. If I get her up off her rump and steer her toward a bathroom every two hours or so it is under control.I really want to stop doing these things.When the hour comes, I will call my cousin and get her input. I will call my siblings starting with my sister followed by my youngest brother then the other two who would feel neglected if they were not called early. Between us We will get the care problem dealt with.I have a nephew with a house in the east bay who can provide a neutral bed or at least a place to spread an air mattress.

Alzheimer’s Test, First of Its Kind, Clears Hurdle
A committee voted that the agency approve the first test that can show Alzheimer’s in the brain of a living person.The approval would be for a dye that homes in on plaque in the brain, making it visible on PET scans. Such scans would be especially valuable in a common and troubling situation — trying to make a diagnosis when it is not clear whether a patient’s memory problems are a result of Alzheimer’s disease or something else. If a scan shows no plaque, the problems are not caused by Alzheimer’s and could be from tiny strokes or other diseases.
A very good thing.
