Fish can be caught, Mushrooms gathered and identified. greens are plentiful. Oil packs and keeps. How long are we out? A day or three can be preped ahead. Nuts and dried fruits? I have packed a bag of apples. I was in for ten days that time. Pasta, yes, dried tomatoes.Fuel can get to be a problem.
