Dissenters Find Fault With Report on Financial Crisis
“Dissenters Find Fault With Report on Financial Crisis - http://nyti.ms/ij4M0o”
All these views pull to the right.  Deregulation enabled the mortgage brokers to write bad loans that the deregulated financial houses bought and, by corrupting the unsupervised rating agencies, sold to all comers. The sales spread the risk but did not moderate it.  The disastrously casual documentation of these too casual loans has made them impossible to foreclose. They were always impossible to collect.
When the buyers noticed that toxic sludge does not become clean by adding more toxic sludge - Bad loans do not become good loans by adding more bad loans - Sales ceased. The loan business died. Bad assets were left on the banks books. The big banks went on life support called TARP. The TARP funds are running out. Nobody wants to see the falling knife.

Ugandan Gay Rights Activist Is Beaten to Death
David Kato, the activist, was one of the most visible defenders of gay rights in a country in a so homophobic that leaders have proposed to execute gay people.

Denial does not expunge guilt.  I know of no one who practices gay sex for the benefits.   This is not the first madness found in Uganda.

I have a problem: The table should star the food.  I have never figured out this aesthetic.  If I need it, I will need help.

College Freshmen Stress Levels High, Survey Finds
Freshmen are reporting record levels of stress in an annual survey involving more than 200,000 students.
I am told that college work is not demanding for a prepared person.
Never having been a prepared person I always found the workload daunting to say the least.
That is not strictly true. When I returned to Parsons I found the work
Easy with the exception of the papers and the computer work.  Once I surrendered and did the exercises the computer work was easy when I could get access to the platforms.  The papers never got easy.  My problem was and is the physical writing.
The stressors on a freshman are or should be apparent.

My point and shoot cost one tenth what a good camera costs and is four times better than a Cell phone.
I will live with it for another year
Mostly I want to be there rather than planning the shot.

I wish people would stop trying to prosecute  Mr. Assange. He is not a criminal in this.

I thought I would start with something small and easily replicated.

A philosophical question that requires a philosophical answer.
I will happily spend years Fussing with the answer.  The individual's ability to commit the groups resources is too limited at this time.  It may be miss-distributed.  I am uncertain what it should be and what they are.
This is the core of government and we deal with it difficulty.
