Now we can see the plaque we should be able to build better data.
Does it apply to those who practice more than one profession?
The dense jargon of a profession is very close to a separate language.

I had not realized that the observation was so recent.
Flood control prevents effective recharge in bounteous years.
Because it is a commons, aquifer regulation must happen.
Externalizing costs is far too advantageous to be market regulated.
      That applies across the board.

Showing Gay Teens a Happy Future
A new online video channel is reaching out to teenagers who are bullied at school for being gay. The message: life really does get better after high school.

Sooner is better.  . . .  As soon as you can is best.

3-D is just not that useful for story telling.  It is not dramatic at more than arm's length and is imperceptible at more than about thirty feet.

Abramson to Replace Keller as The Times’s Executive Editor
“"Ms. Abramson will be the first woman to be editor in the paper’s 160-year history," via @nytimes -- http://nyti.ms/lgaE9w”
I just saw part of an interview with her on the PBS News Hour.

" Ms. Abramson came to The Times in 1997 from The Wall Street Journal, where she was  a deputy bureau chief and an investigative reporter for nine years."
I have wondered where this voice was coming from.
"She also said she believed The Times could be more efficiently managed."   Not a good sign.

I wish I was happier with this appointment.
A change of news editor may be worth the change at the top.

Panel Set to Study Safety of Electronic Health Data
“Medical errors continue to be a problem - http://nyti.ms/faGDMZ”
As I read the report, The errors are human errors, errors of recording and transcription.  Incompatible data formats may enter into it.
Interoperability of record systems must be required.
Control of access is also necessary.
Bedside and examining room asepsis also must be dealt with.

Not so far as I can tell. The automated calculators should use the better method.  I see no way to require it.  The Write-up is as much as we can hope for.  The heart association and the Mayo Should change as soon as possible and republish the article.

Job Data May Be Key to Obama's Job — Economic Memo
No president since Franklin Roosevelt has won re-election with unemployment above 7.2 percent. To keep his own job, it appears President Obama may have to defy this trend.
Yes.  The "conservatives" have made that as difficult as possible.
It is not a trend but a fact.

      Google Ventures Invests in HomeAway
“Google Ventures Invests in HomeAway - http://nyti.ms/ahO0tk”
Home is far too personal to lease out.  A room perhaps but my Kitchen is hard to share.  Things should be where I left them.
If they go missing there is only myself to blame.  It is the same with other shop spaces.
I can adapt but there will be a settling period during which I am not going to be comfortable.

As a business, I wonder how short term rentals are done now.
What advantage does this have over the present system?

I have interesting adventures eating out while travelling.
There is just me so there is nothing to be saved by cooking if there is an alternative.  I have come to hate the chains.  Small cities almost always do better.
If I was going to stay at a location for more than a night cooking would be very desirable.
Cooking for one is not much fun.
