IPhone 4 Ordering: What a Mess
Well, the new iPhone became available for preorders today and, wow, what a mess.

Apple seems to be doing just fine.  They have a niche.  It is bigger than we ever imagined.

Working With Lady Gaga to Bridge Music and Technology
“Working With Lady Gaga to Bridge Music and Technology - http://nyti.ms/ipZ55E”
" . . . and the way that people choose to consume music.”
The problem is that music currently is a digital file and is not consumed by encounters with its audience.
A consumption by the audience model will not work for long.

Consider rather that the audience is consumed by the music.
Part burns out.  Part recovers.  Part looks for other different music.
The musician is the first member of the audience.

This is the model Apple is using.

All I can do is wish them the very best of luck.
The past is there and can be neither forgotten or changed.
I have seen very little that changes the present to improve the future on the basis of perceived past error.
The real shame is that it was done by intention.

Just collect the taxes and pay the creditors.  There is no point in inflicting pain.  I have yet to hear of a person who would not earn another dollar because they were only going to keep eighty five cents.
I have heard a great deal about moral hazard.

    Vouchercare Is Not Medicare
Republicans are indeed seeking to dismantle Medicare as we know it, replacing it with a much worse program.
    Yes.
