Shrimp and Cilantro Shu Mai
“This looks so good! Hopefully making it soon! Thanks, @Bittman! Shrimp and Cilantro Shu Mai - http://nyti.ms/gf97pr”I might put the cilantro in first. Or I could substitute tomatilo. The steaming arrangement is less than happy. A plate will tend to get things soggy. They could go in on top of the rice as it finishes.

Hackers Defend WikiLeaks, Testing Online Speech
Facebook and Twitter face tough decisions around how they should handle situations as politically charged as the WikiLeaks developments.I don't see why this is a problem for them. -

Charlie Chan Finds His Boswell in Yunte Huang
“Charlie Chan Finds His Boswell in Yunte Huang - http://nyti.ms/bkXhZh”A really good rational. If the book came into my hand , I would read it. The Chinese government would rather do Fu Manchu. Where is Ming The Merciless in this?

Cyberattackers Focus on Enemies of WikiLeaks’s Assange
Activists attacked sites of companies like Mastercard that took action against WikiLeaks; a counterattack on hackers’ sites followed.
The attacks are just spite as are the counter-attacks. The sooner everyone climbs down the better. The identity of the perpetrators does not surprise me. -

Dan Feyer, the Crossword Wizard Who Is Fastest of All
“Impressive! Dan Feyer, the Crossword Wizard Who Is Fastest of All - http://nyti.ms/grYEtT”My sister is very fast. She knocks them off in ink. My mind is not organized that way. She and my youngest brother duel in Scrabble. The score regularly tops 600 points. I would think that crosswords are an open set. with some 8,000,000 words in the OED and most of them with multiple definitions no limit on multiple appearances in the same puzzle about 50 words in a puzzle. No requirement on adjacency except crossing words must share the letter at the crossing. There is a really big pool.

Documents Confirm Shipments of Tanks to Sudan
Arms transfers to southern Sudan, which will soon vote on secession, were revealed when Somali pirates found the weapons on a captured freighter.I agree, The Obama administration has no policy on Sudan. The continued anarchy in North East Africa, a frontier of Islam, is destructive of the US goal of peace. Khartoum is not allowed to triumph but a stunning defeat would be as bad for the prospects of peace with Islam. George W. Bush did incalculable damage. -
