Removing Federal Aid From Bank Ratings
“FYI Bank of America files for ADVISOR ALLIANCE trademark - http://nyti.ms/cExdSR”
This is sourced in Reuters, a European agency. The authors seem to think there is something wrong with government support of the banks. The alternative is to expose the insolvency of the banking system and for all the bank stocks and bonds to be wiped out ending the dollar.   That would not be good for any of the world.  The disinflation we have is bad enough.
The Euro is in much the same straits. The poorer periferal nations are not illiquid, that could be solved with the lines of credit they are offered, they are insolvent. They havn't the income to support the loans they have now. The meaning of the high rates of interest being charged on new debt is the bond buyers are trying to recover their money before the default is declared.   When that happens it is game over and the high interest is accelerating the day.

Sherman won the war. Grant took the capitulation.  Jim Crow won the peace. The Republicans want the capitulation.

Do Energy Drinks Improve Athletic Performance?
“Do Energy Drinks Improve Athletic Performance? - http://nyti.ms/gjD4aA”
The article makes no case against energy drinks but the case against sugar.  The caffeine study does not seem to have been done. They are looking but not finding.

Using Waste, Swedish City Shrinks Its Fossil Fuel Use
Kristianstad and the surrounding county, with a population of 80,000, essentially no longer use oil, gas or coal to heat homes and businesses.
Methane is methane no matter what the source. cng or lng are possible but costly as a motor fuel California heats with natural gas, methane. Biological sourcing is well understood.  It is a technology that is waiting untill someone pays for the installation.

  1. Thank you for including my post from the New York Times regarding "Power to the bees."

Question: Is the word 'ancor' a variant spelling of "anchor?" as cited -"Here. Duty and pleasure ancor me."

I didn't see an option to "Reply privately" similar to that offered by LinkedIn for its Groups.
