    It does not appear to have occurred to the agencies that an across the board increase in their sales may not be a good sign for the economy.  Looking for an increase in sales means that sales are considered low.

      I really do not understand how the book market works.  
      I have bought Science Fiction because the library did not and when they finally did, it stayed on the one week loan for months and was rarely available.
