    Heroic, Female and Muslim
Muslim fanatics give their faith a bad name. Then there’s Dr. Hawa Abdi, who has been described as “equal parts Mother Teresa and Rambo.”
Rambo is fiction.  This is fact.

The Benefits of Exercising Before Breakfast
The holiday season brings many joys and, unfortunately, many countervailing dietary pitfalls. Even the fittest and most disciplined of us can succumb, indulging in more fat and calories than at any other time of the year. The health consequences, ...
Are significant. I will get the bicycle mobile.

      Wall Street Whitewash
The financial crisis has provided a teachable moment, all right, but not the one first expected.

        The Crying Game
John Boehner is able to overcome his emotions on matters unrelated to John Boehner and the American Dream.
Gail Collins can't get a laugh with this. It is just too sad.

A board that set conditions for research to go forward might be a very good idea. I do not want to prevent research, only to set requirements for safe laboratory practice.  We usually learn about hazards  by doing post mortem studies on lab workers.

In France, Civil Unions Gain Favor Over Marriage
Civil unions confer most of the benefits and protections of marriage, and French couples increasingly prefer them.

I think something less than marriage is something less than marriage.
It is not an option at this time.
I will take what I can get in this area.
