Paul Krugman has the Republicans dead to rights.
We know what the Republicans want.  They must not get it.
I hope you have a generous pad in the bank.
This is going to be nasty. They want to abandon ninety percent of the population.

House Leaders Bar Earmarks to For-Profit Companies
“Congressional House Leaders Bar Earmarks to For-Profit Companies - http://nyti.ms/9YfpyQ Great move, will they follow through on it?”
Do they understand that this means the end of the "no bid" contract?
Also the end of research at private concerns and development of intellectual property except by grant. Does a grant count as an earmark? As I think on it, probably.

Eminent domain will finally be required.  These are homes and all the occupants have.  To shut down services one must move the people out.

Phys Ed: The Truth About Sex and Exercise
Let’s be clear about this at the start. Vigorous sex will not inevitably cause your heart to stop, and neither will jogging. But you could be excused for believing that both activities are lethal if you relied on some of the coverage of an importa...
I am not about to die trying.  If I am not up to your standards we will have to work on that.  Always interested.

Showing Gay Teens a Happy Future
A new online video channel is reaching out to teenagers who are bullied at school for being gay. The message: life really does get better after high school.
Like those teens,  I anticipate a happy future.
