Architects Take On Museums in Doha and Abu Dhabi
I.M. Pei, Frank Gehry, Norman Foster and Jean Nouvel discuss their work in the Persian Gulf.
I expect these to be ghost towns in a few decades.  These treasuries do not amplify wealth.
A sustained industrial base would threaten the established order.

Apple and I.B.M. Aren’t All That Different
The two companies can be viewed as the yin and the yang of high-tech innovation, with more in common than is generally understood.
Yes and no. They are both software houses who resort to hardware. Apple does products. I.B.M. does system maintenance and science.
        Apple sells primarily to individuals.
        IBM contracts with industry.

One would think these states were hiding a "peculiar institution".
Question the conscience of these legislators.

I see and understand.  I do not want to spend my life with algorithms.  I am a specialist in functional objects.  I am trying to learn to make them appealing.  I want the object to do the selling.  If I can get a positive cash flow in my studies that is far better.

The learning and perhaps the teaching are my objective.  The cash flow is primarily an indicator of success.

      A Piece of the Pie

Our government does not want to be progressive.

Barak Obama might like to be progressive.  He will not be allowed to do that until the system crashes.   FDR spent his first year removing the best efforts of Herbert Hoover's term.

Evolution is probably the wrong name for the observed phenomenon.
Eugenics would not respond so readily.
This is a large and healthy woman bearing a large and healthy child who grows without nutritional limits.  If it were genetic the trend would not reverse in a generation or two.
Call it nutritional influence over several generations and avoid endless biblical bickering.  Names really matter to many of us.

      Financial Crisis With Few Prosecutions
“Financial Crisis With Few Prosecutions - NYTimes | http://nyti.ms/e5Txn2”
The problem was and is that we want our money to survive.
The money is the result of a dance between the federal reserve and the big banks.  If the banks collapse, credit goes with them.  Without credit there is no money.  The cash is just a way of moving credit around without a label.
If we punish the bankers they will take their toys and go home.
The system will break without help very soon and give us the bankers heads on pikes.  In the meantime try to think of a way to duck the impact.

Marla thinks I am nuts.
Would you figure a way to reassure her?
She is a Jewish mother and has "concerns".
