The Arabs get far too much credit in the news.
They are just one of many Islamic tribes. Islam insists on Arabic. The tribes insist on their own identities. The Turks and the Kurds and the Egyptians, All fight with Arabs. The Hebrews are closer to Arabs than most of the other Islamic tribes. Dead empires make things very strange.
