      A power leaves us.
I have figured out how to  run WPKN Bridgeport off the web today.

Real estate in  Florida has continued to sink.

As always you can pay as much as you wish.  115 k is as low as they will admit.  I would guess that ordinary houses are going for about 250K
      I really dislike Florida.

    13 percent explicitly advocate creationism,
“the cautious 60 percent,” who avoid controversy by endorsing neither evolution nor its unscientific alternatives.
Could we require HS bio with evolution for admission to med school and nursing?

Do I Owe My Employees a Career Path?
“Do I Owe My Employees a Career Path? - http://nyti.ms/caKYIq Do #nonprofit orgs owe a career path? #socent”
This man is running a small scale manufacturing operation. As such he employs industrial workers. They have a right to  join a union and get union scale or what they can negotiate. They have jobs, not careers.
A union takes care of training.
If he wants to run a craft shop he must train apprentices and hire journeymen who will go out and start other craft operations when they are ready.  Different rules.  There is a career path in a craft.
I am of the craft tradition.
The answer to his question is no, they are owed a union.

Lack of Sex Among Wine Grapes Saps Its Genetic Health
“Lack of Sex Among Wine Grapes Saps Its Genetic Health - http://nyti.ms/gmkoDP”
A misperception. The grapes have no sex whatsoever. Their genetic health is  exactly as it was. There is no evolutionary pressure on the pests but the pesticides.  It is the problem and the blessing of clones.
      Seedless grapes can't have sex.

‘Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’ at Foxwoods Theater - Review
This show is not only the most expensive musical ever to hit Broadway; it may also rank among the worst.
Bets on how many days it runs?  It needs a hit song. How about Springtime for Hitler and Germany?

    Speakers’ Corner on the Nile
In 40 years of writing about the Middle East, there has never been anything like what is happening in Tahrir Square.
We can hope that it is more than 'Speakers Corner'.  Someone must ask for a resignation.

This has to be stress relief. Energy is coming out.  I know nothing of the geology but New Madrid is supposed to be a failed continental rift. This would indicate that things have moved since the famous quake in 1812.  Beyond that I plead ignorance. Shale is very soft and slippery.

Social Psychologists Detect Liberal Bias Within
A social psychologist has argued that there is a hostile climate for non-liberals among his colleagues.
It has long been noted that the facts have a liberal bias.
I opine that this man has the cart before the horse and is indulging a penchant for the pot to call the kettle black.  The description seems much closer to the faith based perceptions of the conservatives.

On Health Care, Justice Will Prevail
Given the clear case for the health care law’s constitutionality, it’s distressing that many assume its fate will be decided by a partisan, closely divided Supreme Court.
This court has overturned at least one established precedent.

I am rooting for Insite.  My education in addicts was early and effective.
It has suffered occasional refreshers.  I have a horror of narcotics.

Not a new idea: tariff walls. Carbon taxes.  Keep industry here.
