Why Not Regulate Guns as Seriously as Toys?
“Why Not Regulate Guns as Seriously as Toys? - http://nyti.ms/gbadtB”

The only argument I have with this list is the user identification feature, the "smart gun".  A hand gun is a very simple machine. Any additional complexity reduces its dependability.  A gun is emergency equipment.  Dependable operation is primary.

    Bush's Daughter Backs Gay Marriage
As president, George W. Bush backed a constitutional amendment against same-sex marriage. Now one of his daughters, Barbara, has come out in favor of it.
I am glad to see that brain damage is not hereditary.

Apps Customize How Users Read Content Online
Applications like Readability and Read It Later are changing how people read on the Web, putting articles and blog posts into cleaner or more attractive visual displays.
As I understand it the advertiser pays to attach its message to the text block in question.
If the application  strips the advertisements from the text block it is the advertiser that should get paid.
This is not going to fly as designed.

All true and it's where the boys are.
I still have little use for the game.

Hundreds of Thousands Protest in Cairo for Mubarek’s Ouster
Hundreds of thousands of people in Tahrir Square on Tuesday demanded the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak, despite government efforts to block access to Cairo.
He is gone in all but fact.  All that is left is arranging the succession.

Obama Urges Mubarak Not to Run Again
President Obama has told President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt that he should not run for another term in elections in the fall, American diplomats say.

Trying to tell an autocrat  In your position I would run for the border  cannot be fun.

It would be faster and cheaper to buy them out. The ineffective ones want to leave. The politically objectionable ones do not.

Bumpers look pretty safe to me if the crib is safe at all.  A netting crib seems about as good as anything.  The bigger kids will climb the netting unless we make it very fine gauge.
