How Visa, Using Card Fees, Dominates a Market
A simple, free market solution to credit card fee gouging would be to allow merchants to charge lower prices if a customer pays in cash. That way a CUSTOMER can make the choice about whether they want to pay for for the convenience of credit or debit cards. Visa and Mastercard's refusal to allow merchants to set lower prices for cash payments is tantamount to price fixing.
      Regulate this nasty business.

      Crowdsourcing a Better World

People have strong prejudices.  I want to get to the foundation perceptions.
      Not the learned, approved, perception.
African art is very different.  It is still great stuff if you can see it.

Some Doubt Strength of Cuomo’s Support of Gay Rights
“Some Doubt Strength of Cuomo’s Support of Gay Rights - http://nyti.ms/9SqB3p.. Troubling... @ryanjdavis, did you read this?”
"Mr. Cuomo seems acutely aware of the apprehension some gay leaders are feeling. A few weeks ago, he spoke at a $500-a-person fund-raiser for his campaign held by prominent gay supporters, including Mr. Myers. As the crowd of financial executives and political operatives sipped wine at the St. Regis Hotel, Mr. Cuomo assured them that passing a gay-marriage bill “is a priority for me.”
Unsatisfied, a few guests pressed him for details. Exactly how, one of them asked, would he do it?
But he offered scant detail: “I will get it done,” he said."

And he did.                         It is done and will not be undone.

The D.C. Dream Economy: Not Everybody 'Wins' - Room for Debate
The affluence of the D.C. area has sustained the support jobs in the retail, hospitality, food and entertainment industries that have suffered much larger losses elsewhere.

Is this a move or just a deployment?    Things will be really bad to drop the D.C. prices further.
W.Va. prices should be way down.    I will study things up when I am back up at home.
