Why we can all stop paying attention to Sarah Palin for a little while.
I'd rather not see Palin anywhere near the campaign trail, but these days Republicans are all about entertainment rather than governing. How else to explain that no GOP politician is bringing serious ideas to the debates on reforming health care or the financial system. Meanwhile, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and all draw millions of eyes and ears. GOP political rhetoric echoes their shock-jock behavior, with an increase in name-calling, audience pandering and efforts to inflame the base. Sarah Palin is good at all those activities. She draws the attention of a lot of people, and not just in the media.
      Let's just ignore her.

Is it a computer or a fashion accessory ?
If a computer, a macbook air, if fashion an IPad.

Give Parents of Deaf Children a Choice in Education - Room for Debate
If all states gave parents vouchers or tax credits, the decision of public schools to eliminate separate programs for deaf students would be balanced out.
The parents have choice.  They can do it.  They can pay to have it done.  They can accept the available public education.  The states require the level of education and subsidize the secular programs that provide it.

Microsoft has shot themselves in the foot with this.  The hardware is probably well done but the software policy will get it rejected.
This may be why the Flip died.

    A Drug for Down Syndrome
I would not wish Down Syndrome on anyone.
Dr. Costa needn't worry about its elimination.
It will be a good deal rarer but there will be a demand for treatment.
If I were to raise a child I would want it to lead a full, rich and long life. There should be no pet people.

The Main Highway of Commerce - Room for Debate
Would you rather see public programs slashed in your state, or pay a few percent more on your purchase online?
    The wrong question.
