Roger Ebert on Food: Still Cooking
After losing his lower jaw to cancer, the film critic, who can’t eat, has written a cookbook that is an ode to the rice cooker.
It's wonderful that Ebert can communicate well enough to satisfy his audience.
I would read his book with some interest but not enough to seek it out. I think I already cook this way often. I value crunchy textures that simply are not available with the technique.
If there are ways of getting crunch this way I want to know about them.
