9/23/10 @11:00

I don't know the standings. I think this story is premature.
Middle of the pack. definitely premature.
The threats are coming off. The other benefits are not there yet.
Imperial China has arisen, purified.
It never lasts long in this state. If the pressure stays on I will see the implosion.
The ferment of popular democracy is well started. Android or a fork of it will bring down that system. I think there is no real profit there for me. I have never felt guilty about hacking the phone system. Security is what they sell.
This gets to the heart of the matter.
Where are the limits is the only real question.
This is probably better than letting Steve Jobs into the Chinese market.
Usually grey market goes the other way.

The Koch brothers are wrong as stated. I seriously doubt that the Republicans of California are right. We must look to the facts of the case and observe that the technical developments were made under the Carter initiatives. The Chinese read the reports that the Republicans ignored. Jerry Brown was less of a nut than he was painted.
Chinese trade policy is all in China's interest. This looks like a trade war heating up. We went to South Africa for these materials during the cold war. Another good source is Russia. Central Africa is rich in these but the blood price is high.
As the article points out the US can and has mined them domestically at the price of a concentrated radiological (Thorium). Central Europe probably has rich deposits but again the environmental price will be high. Perhaps as the economic squeeze comes on we can generate up a sacrificial area. The populace would be glad of the work until the cancers mature.

Thorium is an alternative to uranium in power reactors. It has not been subsidized by the bomb business. It is time to do the research and use it.
It would make Israel much less nervous if it were used in Iran. No bangs.

I see they will still need some 235 as an initiator. It looks like they are getting it.
May I try to content you? It would bring great contentment to me.
