Young People Will Pay, but Are Choosy - Room for Debate
People 25 to 34 are the most willing to buy online media like movies and games. Second to them are 18-to-24-year-olds.

I expect they will pay as little as possible for what they want.
The easy ways to free entertainment are much reduced.
Paying does not look so bad compared to an high stakes law suit.

    T. S. Eliot’s Rattle of Miseries
Better to simply read the published work.
This is a door stop for the doctoral student.
A feature for every english department library.
The digital edition will be consulted long after the copyright lapses.

    You Love Your iPhone. Literally.
"My best advice? Shut off your iPhone, order some good Champagne and find love and compassion the old-fashioned way."

Just as soon as I can.  Sooner is better.  As soon as you can is best.

Food Stamps for Fast Food: An Absurd Idea - Room for Debate
It makes no sense to use government funds to buy foods that contribute to disease and increased health care costs.
Some takeout is much more healthy than others.
Doing the separation is the trick.
Of what use is a benefit out of reach?

      Business Day
The new image was revealed on Thursday morning.
Better.  It is not any kind of a pie chart.  It will not age well.

Gains Made in Equality of Incomes in Downturn
    "The progress was bittersweet, however.
It happened not because women earned more, but because men earned less, according to an analysis of new Census Bureau data."

Make Sure the Problem Is Not in Your Chair
"Owners of a computer with a solid-state drive, which is standard in the MacBook Air, don’t have to worry about damage from
jostling. But they too, want to make sure their laptops are in sleep mode before zipping them up in carrying cases. Otherwise, the drive could remain engaged and eventually overheat the machine."
Just turn the thing off and wait for it to spin down.  Do Treat them gently.  Use the off switch.  Back them up to dvd or the cloud.  Restoring files is painful when possible.
"Leaving a battery uncharged for a long time can cause a degradation of its chemicals, said M. Stanley Whittingham, professor of chemistry and materials science at State University of New York at Binghamton. “If you treat batteries nicely by using them and not exposing them to extreme temperatures, they can last forever.”"
Different batteries need different treatment.  None are immortal.
I found my sound problem.  The power to the speakers was out.

Sperm Donation Seems Simple, but Isn't - Room for Debate
The law needs to assure that this process is undertaken in a way that protects the children, the women and the donors.

Apparently it does at this time.
The decision to use donated sperm is the mother's.  The sperm bank tests for stds and asks about genetic background.  The mother gets the result. Anonymity protects the donor.

I must sleep now.
Yes, that is my group of recommendations.
Rules seemed to change about then.
