Medicine has been assigned all the disasters of human and animal existance.
The assignment must bring with it the resources to fix the conditions that can be fixed and to bear the pain of those
conditions that cannot  be fixed at that location.
Informing the patient's caregivers is a resource.
Another of the resources is the wisdom of triage.

A passenger found the weapon and gave it to a member of the flight crew. The episode is the latest in a string of embarrassments for the air marshal program.

I refuse to be affraid.
I would like my refusal to be respected.
The T.S.A. and the Republican party have no respect for passengers.

There must be a fix for the current situation.
Security theater is not a fix.
