As a bill pushing for an official apology moves toward the state’s Senate floor, officials expressed regret to the victims of the Dozier School of Boys.

"“It didn’t happen on these people’s watch, the ones who are having to apologize, and that’s the only thing that’s really bad,” Mr. Price said. “Unfortunately, the people’s watch it did happen on are dead.”"
