Climate of Complete Certainty

How about a reasonable conversation on what to do about our warming planet?

Climate is warming.
The warming is caused by human activities.
The rate of warming is such that the future will be different from the past.
The difference will kill people and governments.
This is fact.
The details are unknown.
Debate will not change the details.
Debate will set our response to new conditions.
Our actions will have effects beginning thirty to forty years in the future.

I will vote in favor of action against global warming.
I do not volunteer to suffer.
I find my choice of actions constricted.

Others never learn.
