Of Top Hats, Top Kills and Bottom Feeders

We clearly see the reflections of two failed Presidents in this disaster. Bush was a good old boy who would never do anything to reign in his oil patch enablers. He and Cheney set the process in motion that led us to where we are today.... But Obama has indeed lost his way as well. His tepid response makes me wonder if he would have handled Katrina any better than Bush did... troll.

1.1% highlighted.

The Republican governor of Louisiana Is probably putting on a disaster show.

He has a real disaster.

The top kill is probably not working. We could know py measuring the pressure near the top of the pipe. alternatively we could measure the velocity of the plume as it exits the well. This could be done acousticly by measuring the frequency change in the returned signal. if the fix is working, the pressure and the velocity and the frequency shift will fall.

Another try at the top hat next.

The word from Key West is the oil is not there yet. It is expected. It may not get to the eastern gulf. It will not get to the Caribbean.
