Let's hope that North Korea's ally, China, is not behind this, luring the U.S. deeper into the pit.

The Chinese must hate the thought of a reignited Korean war. Either the leadership is nuts [likely] or there is some problem that war looks likely to resolve.there was never a peace treaty. Only an armistice. The Korean peninsula is dead in any war. The north has nukes and will be destroyed. They will destroy the south. Yuck.
