Bill Cosby’s Wife, Camille, Must Testify in His Accusers’ Civil Case

A federal judge in Massachusetts ruled that the entertainer’s wife of almost 52 years can be deposed in a defamation case brought by seven women.

I regret the necessity.

Justice in Taxes, Most Likely Short-Lived

The average tax rate for America’s top 400 income earners rose in 2013, but tax analysts said the tax structure still overwhelmingly favors the very well-off.

It will depend on the results of the next election.

Thanks, Obama: Highest Earners’ Tax Rates Rose Sharply in 2013

A decline in tax rates of America’s wealthiest taxpayers, underway since the late 1990s, recently reversed course. It’s instructive to look at why.

A Willie Sutton tax policy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sutton%27s_law
"The law is named after the bank robber Willie Sutton, who reputedly replied to a reporter's inquiry as to why he robbed banks by saying "because that's where the money is." (In Sutton's 1976 book Where the Money Was.[1][2] Sutton denies having said this)."

Dr. Richard Pazdur, the Food and Drug Administration’s oncology chief, says his wife’s ordeal was influential in a change that many had advocated but that critics say erodes safeguards.

Dereliction of duty?
I am not interested in proving it.
