Whose Country Is It?
The article presumes that "people of color" will continue to be liberal and Democrats. But I seem to recall a time when blacks voted Republican.
Once long ago the Republicans were a party of radicals.
They elected a president who freed the slaves.
They outlawed slavery.
they built a transcontinental railroad.
They bought Alaska.
the blacks voted for them in the solid south.
