Obama Makes a Surprise Visit to Afghanistan

The president will visit with the President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan and meet with troops there.

Obama may yet surprise me. Health care did. This, on the surface, does not.

One possible excuse is a threatened Mutiny of the military. I doubt it would be a coup. They do insist on winning.
