Queens Man Accused of Amassing ‘Arsenal of Deadly Weapons’

A search of Lee Bergman’s apartment in the Rockaways uncovered a stockpile that included multiple revolvers, rifles and shotguns, an AK-47 and an AR-15, the authorities said.

The police had probable cause.

Lee Bergman should receive involuntary psychiatric attention as a danger to himself and to others.

Unplanned Pregnancies Hit Lowest Level in 30 Years

Of 6.1 million pregnancies for those 15 to 44 in the United States in 2011, only 2.8 million were unintended, representing the lowest level in three decades.

"“We hypothesize that changes in contraceptive use are driving the decline,” said the lead author of the report, Lawrence B. Finer, the director of domestic research at the Guttmacher Institute.
“The biggest change is women using some form of contraception, and a substantial shift toward the use of long-acting methods” like intrauterine devices and contraceptive patches.
On the whole, Dr. Finer said, the results are good news."

Haute Expectations at Saint Laurent and Chanel

The shows offered a contrast: one evoked the now omnipresent ’80s in a way that felt like a re-creation; the other used the past to point in a new direction.
