Fewer Young People Are Drinking and Driving, Study Says

Government researchers found sharp declines in drinking and driving among people between the ages of 16 and 25.

Any are too many drunk drivers.

I can think of no practical way to prevent drunk driving.
A practical expedient is to forbid parking at bars.
I don't know what to do about restaurants.
Designated drivers help.

Paris Accord Considers Climate Change as a Factor in Mass Migration

The large-scale displacement of people as a product of global warming has been an ominous, politically sensitive undercurrent at the two-week conference.

Combat theater maps are important to executing a campaign.
They change as forces are deployed and communications are established.
Climate change must be considered as an extended campaign.
There should be dynamic maps of the developing situation.
Thus far the information is considered to be static by the news organizations.
Temperature, rainfall, evaporation, flooding, snow mass, prevailing wind, crops and crop failures, greenhouse gas emissions and flows and refugee displacements all can be overlaid in a graphical interface and updated as information becomes available.
Where and how the world is stressed is knowable and should be known.

"Keeping our heads in the sand" does not help.
