An increase in the number of infants born in Brazil with a form of brain damage has been blamed on the Zika virus.

Poland: Law Altering Top Court Goes Into Effect Despite Criticism

The new law which affects how Poland’s highest court makes rulings, is a move that critics say will paralyze the court and erode checks and balances on government powers.

People are properly suspicious of changes.
Requiring a quorum and a supermajority seem a good idea to me.
Factional dominance of the political system should be avoided.
It is the problem in the U.S.

Missouri: Judge Prevents State From Revoking Abortion License

A federal judge said the state had treated the Planned Parenthood clinic more harshly than similar institutions and had moved to withdraw the license because of political pressure from some state lawmakers.

http://definitions.uslegal.com/a/admitting-privileges-health-care/

The requirement of admitting privileges for doctors providing outpatient abortions
seems superfluous.
Formerly pregnant women requiring emergency care would be admitted through the emergency department of the hospital.
Pregnant women requiring inpatient care would also come through the emergency department.
