Fracking Has Not Had Big Effect on Water Supply, E.P.A. Says While Noting Risks

The agency said it had found no evidence that hydraulic fracturing has had a widespread effect on drinking water, but it warned that it does have the potential to do so.

This is a short term study of a changing industry.
The industry is under threat from fossil carbon limits.
The industry is fighting for its profits which are its life.
The threat to drinking water is long term since the resort to deep injection for the disposal of waste water.
It would be an error to draw long term conclusions from this report.

Calling on Chancellor Tisch to Punish the East Ramapo School Board

An education professor urges the chancellor of the New York State Board of Regents to address the neglect of a district’s public school students.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/03/opinion/when-a-school-board-victimizes-kids.html

The legislation for a state takeover of the public schools in East Ramapo exists.
The need is obvious.  The board is discriminating against a majority of the  public school students and abusing the Separation of Church and State.
Remove the elected board now.
They can be prosecuted for fraud and discrimination at leisure.

Moral turpitude is the offense though law is foggy on its prosecution.
